Call for applications for JAHF sponsorship of 2016 CAA session

The deadline for session proposals for the 2016 College Art Association Annual Conference (to be held in Washington DC February 3-6, 2016) is September 12, 2014. As a CAA-affiliated society, JAHF is now accepting applications for JAHF sponsorship of sessions.

Members planning to chair a session concerning Japanese art who wish to have it considered for sponsorship should submit their application by email by September 1 to Xiaojin Wu, JAHF Vice-President. Results will be announced by September 9.

Applications should include the following information:
-Session title
-Session abstract
-Session category
-Name, affiliation and cv of chair(s)

Please note that session chair(s) must be both CAA and JAHF members, and that selection for JAHF sponsorship is not a guarantee of acceptance by CAA.
